About PaycheckGrid
PaycheckGrid is a free US take-home pay reference. Enter a salary and a state and see exactly what you keep after federal income tax, Social Security, Medicare, and state tax, shown as a yearly, monthly, biweekly, and weekly figure.
It exists because net pay is hard to see. Gross salary is what shows up in an offer, but what actually lands in your account depends on your state and your filing status, and that is rarely spelled out in one place. PaycheckGrid puts the full breakdown on one page for every salary in every state.
The site is published by Inventum. Content is maintained under the byline PaycheckGrid Editorial. We do not publish individual personas or invented credentials. Accountability rests on things you can check for yourself: a named publisher, a public methodology, dated and version-stamped datasets, and an open corrections inbox at support@inventum.com.au.
PaycheckGrid is not a tax preparer, a financial adviser, or a government service. It has no affiliation with the IRS, the Social Security Administration, or any government body. It gives general information to help you understand your pay, not personal tax advice.
Every number comes from a dataset transcribed from official IRS, SSA, and state revenue tables, each stamped with its source and the date it was verified. The calculator and every page share one calculation engine, so the numbers on a page and the numbers in the tool cannot disagree. Found something that looks wrong? Email support@inventum.com.au and we will check it against the source.
